Roles / Responsibilities
Would be responsible for the implementation of the proposed solutions for our customers.
Would report directly to the PMO and Delivery Manager / Customer Relationship Manager for project related tasks and other issues.
Would be expected to participate / provide inputs on the detailed design and technology implementation approaches of the corresponding project(s).
Would be responsible for effective co-ordination of efforts between the different teams (within and outside of Orion) on various projects that may require technology integration.
Would actively participate in the development / documentation effort on the assigned projects
Will be responsible for reviewing documentation and providing updates / recommendations on the current design status
Will be responsible for monitoring coding standards and provide recommendations to fellow team members
Responsible for knowledge transfers on the technical implementation details of the product for any additional team members that might be inducted.
Will be primarily responsible for mentoring and monitoring the performance of the resource placed under.
Required Skills / Experience
4 - 6 years of development experience in Microsoft Technologies specifically with at least 1 - 2 years of experience as a Team Lead.
Must have relevant experience with designing software systems in the Microsoft Technologies realm including Web and Desktop applications.
Conceptual knowledge of Databases / RDBMS would need to be strong
Strong concepts and experience authoring data transfer methodologies including stored procedures and queries in T-SQL
Excellent communication skills needed to accurately identify project needs and communicate with team members
Requires a high level of analytical skills to solve technical issues involving research, interpretation and resolution
Experience with modeling using Visual modeling tools including Erwin, Rational Rose, Visio etc.
Experience with data integration style projects using SQL Server Integration Services (or an SOA based architecture) is mandatory
Must have relevant experience with leading teams and solution approaches
Must be able to manage changing priorities, resolve conflicts and work effectively
Must be able to take lead on projects requiring coding
Clear communication skills are of high importance since this position could involve direct interactions with client team members as well as other development team members.
Desired Skills
Experience with designing applications using any of the Microsoft .NET based languages including VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB 6.0, XML, XSL, scripting languages including VBScript / Javascript, HTML
Relevant experience with working on distributed systems would be a great plus.
Experience working with Enterprise Integration Applications including Business Intelligence Tools is a plus
Conceptual knowledge of performance optimization / memory management of web based applications and database systems is a definite plus
Certifications from Microsoft
Working knowledge in object-oriented design and development
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
